Kegiatan ini berlangsung di SMP Negeri 3 Baranti, Kecamatan Baranti, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, pada Senin (27/07/2026) dan diikuti oleh 41 siswa kelas VII. Program ini bertujuan menanamkan budaya keselamatan sejak dini melalui edukasi yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penanggung jawab kegiatan, Nayla Amirah Ramli, menyampaikan bahwa program ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di lingkungan sekolah. Menurutnya, sekolah merupakan tempat berlangsungnya berbagai aktivitas yang memiliki potensi bahaya apabila peserta didik belum memahami cara mengenali risiko dan menerapkan perilaku aman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. “Melalui program SIAGA SEKOLAH, kami ingin menanamkan bahwa keselamatan bukan hanya tanggung jawab guru, tetapi juga menjadi tanggung jawab setiap siswa. Dengan memahami potensi bahaya dan cara pencegahannya, diharapkan siswa dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman, sehat, dan nyaman,” ujar Nayla. Kegiatan diawali dengan pre-test untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan awal peserta, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi mengenai konsep dasar K3 di sekolah, pengenalan berbagai potensi bahaya di lingkungan sekolah, pencegahan risiko kecelakaan, serta edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana, termasuk simulasi Drop, Cover, and Hold On sebagai langkah penyelamatan diri saat terjadi gempa bumi. Untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, kegiatan juga dikemas melalui permainan edukatif dan sesi diskusi interaktif. Antusiasme peserta terlihat sepanjang kegiatan berlangsung. Siswa aktif menjawab pertanyaan, berdiskusi, mengikuti simulasi, serta berpartisipasi dalam permainan edukatif yang dirancang untuk memperkuat pemahaman mengenai materi yang telah diberikan. Di akhir kegiatan, peserta kembali mengikuti post-test sebagai bentuk evaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan setelah menerima edukasi. Program SIAGA SEKOLAH turut mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Nomor 3 (Good Health and Well-being) dan SDGs Nomor 4 (Quality Education) melalui upaya promotif dan preventif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang sehat, aman, dan nyaman. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga sejalan dengan Asta Cita ke-4, yaitu memperkuat pembangunan sumber daya manusia melalui peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, kesehatan, serta pembentukan karakter peserta didik yang peduli terhadap keselamatan diri dan lingkungan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan siswa SMP Negeri 3 Baranti mampu mengenali berbagai potensi bahaya di lingkungan sekolah, menerapkan perilaku aman dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, serta memiliki kesiapsiagaan yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi situasi darurat maupun bencana. In addition to these workshops and booths, the event will feature the announcement of the 2 winners of the inaugural Crimson 10 Overseas Education Scholarship.
